This course provides the mapping fundamentals required for any further study in xeno-navigation. Students will learn to read three-dimensional stellar charts, understand spectral classification, and produce their own subspace navigation diagrams.
Practical components:
- Hands-on use of the Institute’s holographic cartography theatre
- Construction of a navigation chart for a chosen sector
- Field trip: T’Khasi optical observatory
